Calling all Hearts, Dawn Richard has just revealed the single cover to her new song, “Judith”, which was selected by her fans in an online contest. The Cronos-produced track is lifted from her upcoming sophomore album, Blackheart.
Richard keeps with the warrior theme for the “Judith” artwork. The softer side to the fighter in this simple black and white photo, but adds a spark of colour with the attention grabbing gold mask. However, if Richard’s explanation of the song ties everything together.
“It’s the story of a painting that is priceless and quite iconic being forgotten after being hung in a home too long,” said Dawn to Rap-Up. “People tend to forget the worth of things after they’ve had them for a long time. ’Judith’ simply reminds her spectators of her worth.”
