New Song: Chris Brown – ‘Trumpet Lights’

Chris Brown continued to explore his potential as a crossover artist with this new song entitled ‘Trumpet Lights’. Produced by Swizz Beatz, who Brown recently supported at the Reebok Classics party in Las Vegas, the record will reportedly appear on the entertainer’s upcoming ‘Fortune’ album.

This song is amazing! The most important facet of any Dance song is the beat and Swizz worked magic on this one. Also, the record has an undeniable World Music element to it, thanks no doubt to the chanting, which makes it difficult to ignore.

As previously noted, Brown has an undeniable flare for Dance music. I am quite pleased that he is continuing to experiment with the genre in such interesting ways. Well done!

   This doesn’t sound finished, but I definitely love what I’m hearing! I definitely get Baltimore House Music sounds from this song. It makes sense, considering he’s from Virginia.

   It’s hot! I love the beat and the trumpets are dope but the autotune is a bit annoying to me. I do think it’s a good dance track and I could see this doing really well on the charts if released! The clubs will eat this up!

   I just hope that it wasn’t supposed to be on ‘Fortune’ cause I know he doesn’t want songs that leaked to be on the album. I wonder how his shit keeps on leaking. Hopefully his label will get on it and block this if he wants to use it. I already noticed they blocked a couple of songs that leaked earlier.

   Like someone said before, it’s so short and it doesn’t really sound finished so maybe this isn’t the ‘final version. *shrugs*

   I agree that Chris has a flair for dance music. I actually think her sounds best on dance songs like Forever and Yeah3x. He has the energy and the dance moves to pull it off. I wish he’d quit R&B and move on to Dance. Same for Kelly Rowland.
