Eve looked fierce when she attended the Angel Ball hosted by the Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation for Cancer Research at Cipriani in New York City this evening. The rapper has evaded the spotlight since August when she released new promotional pictures that led her fans to wrongfully assume that her ‘Lip Lock’ album was finally nearing completion.
Judging by these new promo pics, it seems that Eve has finally gotten serious about releasing her long delayed ‘Lip Lock’ album. The rapper has been promising to issue the LP since 2007 but none of her claims have come to fruition.
This week’s Way Back Wednesday is an unforgettable collaboration between Eve and Alicia Keys. ‘Gangsta Lovn” was released in 2002 as the lead single from Eve’s ‘Eve-Olution’ LP and become her 2nd most successful song to date, peaking at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #6 on the Official UK Singles Chart.
