Little Mix enjoyed a surprised debut on the Billboard 200 this week when their DNA album cracked the chart at #4. So, to celebrate their record-setting accomplishment, the foursome appeared on the Good Morning America Summer Concert Series to perform their hit single, “Wings”.
The US charts were unusually busy this week with a flurry of new debuts and major moves that finally shook up the previously stagnent top 10 lineups of both the Billboard 200 and the Billboard Hot 100. From Little Mix to Robin Thicke and The-Dream, there was much to discuss on the commercial front.
Even the added powers of Beyonce, Jay-Z and Kelly Rowland couldn’t convince consumers to purchase a copy of The-Dream’s new IV Play album. Indeed, sales predictions indicate that the record is set to have a very slow start on the charts next week and an even smaller impact than Little Mix’s DNA.
The BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend was the place to be for fans of young talent. In addition to performances by Rita Ora and J. Cole at the event on May 24th, Iggy Azalea and Little Mix rocked the massive crowd with renditions of their latest hit singles.

Rumours have been circulating recently that Missy Elliott would appear Little Mix new single, “How Ya Doin’?” and today, the ladies proved the the chatter to be true. In face, the foursome called UK radio’s Capital FM to debut the song on air!
As One Direction fever has begun to cool (for now), another group of The X Factor (UK) contestants are preparing to maintain the momentum of the British invasion. The ladies of Little Mix made their US debut performance this weekend, thus commencing their push for world domination.
