You’ve seen part one of JoJo’s Rap-Up Sessions show and now, it’s time for another dose of the action! Instead of performing songs by other artists, however, the singer dipped into her own catalogue and selected a pair of fan favourites – “Demonstrate” and “Like That”.
Blackground Records doesn’t promote JoJo’s talent but at least she still has the support of the blogosphere. For her latest online spot, the singer made an appearance on the revived Rap-Up Sessions where she performed a mix of hits, including her “Andre” from her Agape mixtape.
JoJo is an enormously talented singer but her career remains in limbo because of a severe rift between her and her label, Blackground Records. In fact, during a recent interview with Rolling Stone, the friend of The Lava Lizard revealed that her relationship with the company has deteriorated to a point of seemingly no return.
As Moses said to Pharaoh, “let my JoJo go!” Proving that she has the looks, talent and flair to be a star, JoJo combines all of those elements into her new video for “Andre” from her Agape mixtape as she boasts the message of individuality to her loyal fans.
Thank ancient deities for the power of the internet because otherwise we’d never get the chance to see JoJo. Trapped in a seemingly everlasting limbo, the incredibly talented yet unfortunate singer let her fans know that she was still alive during a mini online concert, which featured Leah LaBelle.
JoJo’s fans are in for quite a treat as one of the standout tracks from her Agape mixtape, “Andre”, will receive video treatment. The young songbird journeyed to Los Angeles to film the production, which is dedicated to the style of OutKast icon Andre 3000.
