Back in January, Leah LaBelle released her latest catchy single, “Lolita”, which was produced by Pharrell. Now, months after the song drifted from memory, the singer has returned to the spotlight with its suggestive, racy accompanying video.
Depicting scenes of LaBelle in the role of a naughty neighbourhood girl who drives all the boys crazy, the “Lolita” video includes several sexual metaphors – the squirting garden hose is hardly subtle. Yet, the clip certainly matches the spicy message of the song so it’s hardly surprising.
