Beyonce took her ’4′ promotional campaign to late night television last evening on ‘Late Night with Jimmy Fallon’. The singer performed her new single, ‘Best Thing I Never Had’, which she also performed mere hours before on ‘The View’.

Clearly Beyonce must be ill because she has been struggling to keep up with the arrangements of her music in the last couple days. Even her speaking voice sounds nasal and unusually hoarse. Either way, she did her thing .

Yaw’ll not gonna DRAG ms. knowles…she did an amazing job, and if she’s sick that say’s LOADS about the much healthier and younger competition that could NEVER give such a classy performance. She’s toning it down in an effort to transistion to a much more mature performer. She’ll still give us some hair raising moments, but she wants to also show that she can give you stand there and sing vocals like ‘Dangerously In Love’ moments. This song is blah, but she sings it like it’s the best song int he world and for that I appreciate her hard work and the fact she stands behind her product.

I don’t see or hear any signs of struggling. Beyoncé has always been a dramatic performer in her facial expressions and body movement. This was the best performance of that song of the few that I’ve seen her do. She yet exemplifies why she is one of the most consistent singers out there. Even on days where she is not feeling so well, she still delivers.
