Destiny’s Child will be remembered as one of the best-selling girl groups of all time. However, despite being marred by internal tensions and eventual scandal, the most successful incarnation of the band comprised the quartet of Beyonce, Kelly Rowland, LaTavia and LeToya.
The four girls scored the bestselling release of the group’s history with ‘Writings on the Wall’, which was certified 8x platinum in the US. Unfortunately, after LeToya and LaTavia were unceremoniously dismissed from the band, the revamped trio, which then included Michelle Williams, were unable to match their previous sales despite garnering multiple hit tours and several record-breaking singles.
