LA Reid Officially Joins Epic Records

It’s official: LA Reid has joined Sony Music Entertainment. The former Island Def Jam head has taken the reigns of Epic Records and will report to Sony’s new CEO, Doug Morris.

There is still no official word regarding whether Ciara, Jennifer Lopez or Mariah Carey will join Reid on Epic. Read his statement about below:

We are deeply committed to discovering and developing the next generation of superstars as well as implementing a fresh and innovative business model.

It is also my distinct pleasure to be once again joining Doug [Morris], who is an amazing leader and the most visionary and forward-thinking executive in the music entertainment industry.”

    YES! Alexandra Burke is Signed to Epic records US so i hope he has a hand in her US career.
