New Song: Monica – ‘Anything (To Find You) (Ft. Lil Kim & Rick Ross)’

Monica teams up with Lil Kim and Rick Ross on ‘Anything (To Find You) (Ft. Lil Kim & Rick Ross)’. Produced by Missy Elliott, the record serves as the first single from her ‘New Life’ album which hits stores on October 4th.

Listen to the song below:

This song exhibits Monica doing what she does best – playing it safe. Without pushing herself musically or vocally, she remains within the same range that she demonstrated on almost all of her recent material.

In fact, the only risk that Monica took with this track was the inclusion of a Lil Kim verse which, as has come to be expected from the former chart-topper, was anything but impressive. Where has the exciting Monica of ‘After The Storm’ gone? If you find her then let me know.

Just another flop to add to the flop pile! She needs to let Rihanna help her with her music! LOUD > Monica’s entire discography

Monica needs to listen to her early material and take inspiration from her 90′s stuff.

@Rihbaby what Rihanna needs to do is become a artisr and not a Britney, Christina 90′s manifucatured bubble gum pop gimmick & start believing in alteast showing the world she has a lil talent by writing her own material. Like the talent she has dissing people on twitter.

I like the song but she could of left Rick Ross and Lil Kim off of this! But it does sound like something Keyshia would do!

She’s still making ’03 type music. Dance-pop is what’s in. I’m listening to some Japanese R&B and they go harder than this. She needs to go to Kelly for some inspiration. Anyways, Chris Brown is going to be on one of her tracks, can’t wait to hear it.

This is a nice song, but it would be great if there was more umpth to it. This may not even be the first single.
