Monica previously selected October 4th as the tentative release date for her ‘New Life’ album but now the singer has decided to debut the LP one month later. The record, which is preceded by the lead single ‘Anything (To Find You) (Ft. Rick Ross)’, will now hit stores in early November.
‘New Life’ will launch on November 8th. Monica recently spoke to Hip Hollywood about the record and revealed why she chose to work with Missy Elliott as a key contributor to revamping the R&B flavour of her earliest work.

Monica definitely made a wise decision by delaying this album. With ‘Anything’ crawling very slowly up the R&B charts with little gains in airplay, she will need to release another single before the LP hits stores.
Also, Monica would benefit from the impending Thanksgiving sales rush of the following week, which should guarantee relatively high first week figures. Of course, regardless of how many times she delays the album, the most important facet is its quality so hopefully she delivers.
