Rihanna Discusses Chris Brown & Vocal Training In Esquire

Rihanna didn’t only reveal her naked body in the latest issue of Esquire magazine; she also spoke about her feelings toward her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown. Amidst discussions about her ‘Loud Tour’, the ‘We Found Love’ performer initiated to her usual pre-album promotional routine of talking about her former flame of whom she will “always be a fan”.
Furthermore, Rihanna shared details about the vocal training regimen that she conducts before every performance where she where she contacts her vocal coach via Skype. Surprisingly, she did not mention her fondness of smoking.

Rihanna tells Esquire magazine that disliking Brown “was taking up too much of my time” and that she has moved on from that.
“It was too much anger,” the 23-year-old said. “I’m really excited to see the breakthrough he’s had in his career. It’s incredible to see how he pulled out the way he did. Even when the world seemed like it was against him, you know?”
“I really like the music he’s putting out. I’m a fan of his stuff. I’ve always been a fan.”
On vocal training
I eat lozenges, steam my voice and do my makeup. I Skype my vocal coach and we sit there at the makeup table and do warm-ups for about a half-hour.
Of course, such hard work and rigourous training is necessary for Rihanna to deliver her renowned vocal gymnastics and defend her title as The Voice. The results of that approach are evident every time she belts the triumphant ‘Only Girl (In The World)’ or scales through her amazing vocal range in the melismatic ‘Skin‘.

It didn’t just “seem” like the world was against him. The world WAS actually against him. People were boycotting his music and tours, caling him names, taking away endorsement deals etc.
Not saying it wasn’t deserved, but for her to come off like that seems kind of like she was oblivious to the whole situation.

The thing is, she was asked a question so she answered. Why would she need Chris to promote? Think about it? She had a solid fan base and being this us the first time she’s said anything about him is not the reason her née shyt skyrocketed on iTunes and billboard. You guys are done hating birds. When the Chris incident happened, she was one of the few who didn’t talk about him and kick him when he was down. She can’t please bishes whether she does or doesn’t. If the interviewer is asking her a question about him, she’s going to answer it. It’s not like she bashed him or anything. He’s enjoying some success right now and she’s happy for him. End of.

If this wasnt for promotion then why doesn’t she say these “nice” things on Twitter? Because Twitter is FREE! She only mentions Chris when its for magazine covers or tv interviews. When there’s money involved she will use her Breezycard.
I love to hate Rihanna’s vocal performances just like the next person, but I simply hate the fact that anytime Rihanna’s name is mentioned and vocal performance appears somewhere in the paragraph, Trent seeks it as an opportunity to paint her as a overzealous chain smoking mannequin. Like, for real? Who cares if she smokes? That’s on her. We all know she can’t sing live anyway. That’s her career down the drain. A lot of your faves drink and smoke ciggies.

Im not sure if its for PROMOTION but at least its good. Hell she could have bashed him. either way Im sick of seeing her but she has a brand to build so its whatever.
Another point to add, rihluv, Chris was the more successful of the two, rihanna didnt become a “success” until GGGB, her third album. Chris’ debut album was a hit.
