Mary J. Blige Boasts Self-Acceptance On ‘Sunday Morning’

Mary J. Blige appeared on ‘CBS News Sunday Morning’ earlier today to discuss her recently released ‘My Life II: The Journey Continues (Act 1)’ album. However, in a welcome moment on spontaneity, the diva went beyond the usual scope of questions to talk about her tumultuous past that involved a cycle of horrible abuse.

Blige previously described how she was both physically and emotionally abused as a child during her Vh1 ‘Behind the Music’ special earlier this year. However, she overcame her problems by expressing herself through her often honest lyrics and performances.
