Rihanna Slightly Improves On ‘X Factor (UK)’

Written by Trent | Filed under Rihanna

Earlier this week when Rihanna performed her #1 single, ‘We Found Love’, on ‘The X Factor (US)’, she received backlash for miming the entire tune. However, when she hit the stage on the show’s UK counterpart today, she attempted to sing along with the backtrack.

‘We Found Love’ has clocked a 5th week atop the Official UK Singles Chart. The track is the lead single from Rihanna’s upcoming ‘Talk That Talk’ album, which will be released in the UK and the US on November 21st.

Rihanna performance of this song was definitely a lot better than her showing on ‘X Factor (US)’. However, it would have been even better if she didn’t rely on the backtrack for the more ‘difficult’ parts.

Really, is ‘We Found Love’ that hard to sing? I just sneezed and hit a higher note than anything she did on that record.

    Thoughts?

Rihanna sounded great! And she was moving! I think Talk That Talk will be a massive hit album. Maybe Rih will get her Number 1 for once.

what Trent really wanted to say is “I wish she did not use the backing track because it would be nice to hear how strongly she was singing over it. Is she took more time on breath control the longer notes would have not been an issue for her and the performance would have been one of the best weve seen of WFL to date…” *end scene*
