Brandy Shifts Album Release To May

As anticipation continues to build for the release of her new album, Brandy has once again shifted the tentative date for the debut of the project. During an interview on ‘The Wendy Williams Show’ earlier today, the singer/actress noted that she is aiming to have the record in stores by May.

Brandy previously stated in Billboard that her untitled new album would have arrived by March. However, she confirmed the record’s new release schedule on ‘Wendy’ this morning amidst discussions about the musical direction of the project.

Don’t expect to hear any rapping on the album, though, because Brandy affirmed that she has only been “singing her heart out.” Additionally, when asked to address the rumours about a possible duet with Monica following the duo’s recent studio session with Rico Love, Brandy was quite coy and avoided the topic.

With this latest delay of her record’s debut, it is quite easy to understand why many of Brandy’s fans may be worried. She stated that the first single from her new album would have been out by the end of 2011 but it was not released without any news regarding the status of the song.

Hopefully, these delays are not indicators of Brandy’s project being in disarray. The last thing she needs is to drop the ball with her first release on RCA Records and ruin her chances of scoring a comeback.

   Brandy is on her way to becoming BASIC if she doesn’t release this album. I don’t care about who’s she’s sleeping with this year or month. This is terrible, stick to the music.

   Now see…! These artists get you excited and then start shifting dates. They are the ones who kill any anticipation for their records. Tamia did this same shit last year. The album is supposed to be out in Feb of this year yet her first single still hasn’t surfaced.

   Okay let me get y’all faggs straight. Brandy us taking her time with this album. I know things will be up and running until we get the actual release of the first single along with the album. Planning shit together when it comes to making and releasing music ain’t easy. You don’t speak for the #STARZ we got THIS and we have been waiting patiently. I think the single will officially kick off next month or no later by th end of February.

    The Marriage Counselor comes out July so seems she coordinating album closer to this release. she shouldn’t throw dates outthere until she’s sure that ways he won’t have to keep changing and disappointing ppl. Just say it’s coming.
