In case you’ve forgotten, Monica has a new album that will be released on March. As a wat to remind people of the record’s impending release, the R&B singer ventured to Atlanta for the Battle of the Bands show, where she performed the promotional single ‘Anything (To Find You)’ as well as her classic tune, ‘Angel of Mine’.
If you were bored beyond all reason by those songs then don’t fret because Monica’s new duet with Brandy, entitled ‘All Belongs to Me’, will debut on February 6th. The track has been described as a “shocker” by producer Rico Love, who promised that he brought out the best in both singers’ voices.

I believe Monica is a great singer, but I fail to believe that this upcoming album will sell well. I’m hoping this new duet with Brandy will bring a “The Boy is Mine” type of vibe. I will not compare the two, considering the time difference, but she needs all the help she can. Am I the only one who forgot she was releasing an album, or even in the studio for that matter?
Monica is just very safe in her sound. Theres nothing risky about her music. Even though she has a great voice she just doesn’t go that extra mile.
I love this woman
why did the album get pushed back?!?!
Monica has a great voice yet nothing about her music jumps out at you. Like you all stated before, it’s safe, which probably explains why her album has now been pushed back to April. Monica lacks true artistry and that’s another reason why audiences get bored with her easily. I’m keeping my finger’s crossed that this new duet with she and Brandy will make some sort of impact on Billboard because at this point, Monica is desperately needing it.
Monica will do great.
