New Video: Kelly Rowland – ‘Keep It Between Us’

Kelly Rowland spurred her ‘Here I Am’ project from dormancy early this morning when she released a preview of her ‘Keep it Between Us’. Now, as interest in the song has risen to lukewarm temperature thanks to an appearance from actor Lance Gross, the singer has debuted the video in its entirety.

Could ‘Keep it Between Us’ help Rowland’s ‘Here I Am’ to finally pass 220K copies in US sales? Watch the video below and place your bets:

Honestly, ‘Here I Am’ has run its course. The album has been a certified flop – really, if the RIAA offered that as an official certification then it would be at 2x flop status by now – and all interest in the record has subsided.

Still, ‘Keep it Between Us’ is a solid track and the accompanying video should help it garner airplay on BET Centric. Hopefully, Rowland focuses her efforts into crafting a better album next time instead of selling workout DVDs on Twitter.

   Didnt watch the video cuz its one of my least favorite songs on the album, Turn it up or all of the night wouldve been better

    That closing comment in this article was completely uncalled for bcuz the album is very solid & is filled with great singles. If anything u should’ve said promo should’ve been better. Not the album. Great song. Beautiful video. I do agree that she took too long tho. But she has managed to pass platinum status wit each album after a while. & honestly I think this one will follow suit.

    I love the song. The video was mediocre. I just feel like Kelly Rowland should focus more on something else because trying to revive “Here I Am” from it’s deceased state isn’t it. Maybe she can get a supporting role on ‘The Game’ with her good friend Brandy.
