Whitney Houston was excited to remake the movie ‘Sparkle’ that inspired her during her youth. Sadly, when the diva finally got her wish, the film became the final project of her career before her sudden passing.
Of course, given the shabby condition of her voice during the final years of her life, many of Houston’s fans wondered if she had the potential to bring the character of Emma to life. As such, ‘Entertainment Tonight’ provided an extended preview of the film to answer the many questions relating to the Houston’s final days.
Also starring Jordin Sparks, ‘Sparkle’ is set to debut in August. Watch the preview of the movie, in which Houston actually displayed husky yet impressive vocals, below:
Whitney was an angel! and she touched many in her time here on earth. I’ve never heard anyone say a bad word about her. she was a very generous and giving spirit. I miss her so much but her legacy will live on.
Sparkle was her baby that she worked on with determination and joy. I’ll be first in line to see this and I never doubted that she was still able to sing without studio magic.
God doesn’t give someone a gift so huge and it disappears.
The Voice was on her way back
Life’s a bitch.
This is just too sad but God has a better plan for all of us!
@Shay_da_bess How is dying in the bath a better “plan” then watching your daughter grow into a woman, falling in love, having children!? What a dumb, irrational comment! URGH
