Ashanti Unveils ‘Braveheart’ Album Cover

The cover of Ashanti's 'Braveheart' album.

Ashanti paused the filming of her ‘The Woman You Love’ video to shoot the cover of her ‘Braveheart’ album. The record is now due on April 24th; a week later than the originally scheduled April 17th release date.

Among the artists who will be featured on ‘Braveheart’ album R. Kelly, Busta Rhymes and Keyshia Cole. However, Ashanti has noted that her duet with Cole, entitled ‘Woman to Woman’, might appear on the latter’s album instead of her own.

   I like the pic but I think it’s a bit tacky as it’s the same exact look from her video (which was amazing). I mean, I know she might be on a budget but she coule at lease change the lip colour and scrape her hair into a ponytail or SOMETHING.

   trent u know i love u…but im so hoping u got this wrong…i do not want this to be the cover of the album…this is really poorly done…i do photography and probably make a tenth of what the photographer of this pic does…smh http://www.pheauxtography.com

   Robert Ector, who did the photography work for her single covers, has confirmed on his twitter account that this is NOT the official album cover.

   I’m disappointed in the fact that she used the exact same look from her video but oh well. I guess this is what Ashanti wanted. Hopefully her album is of good quality.
