Did you know that Keyshia Cole has only scored a single top 10 hit as a lead artist on the Billboard Hot 100?
As a lead performer, Cole has only placed 1 song in the top 10 of the Hot 100 – ‘Let it Go (Ft. Missy Elliott & Lil Kim)’ – which peaked at #7 on the listing. In fact, in addition to ‘Love’, which peaked at #19, the R&B singer has only a pair of top 20 singles on the Hot 100.
As a featured artist, Cole has nabbed 2 additional top 10 entries on the Hot 100 – ‘(When You Gonna) Give It up to MeĀ (with Sean Paul)’ and ‘Last Night (with Diddy)’. Those tracks peaked at #3 and #10, respectively.
However, Cole has garnered more success on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. She clocked 11 consecutive top 10 singles on the lineup – 3 of which climbed to #1 – as both a lead act and featured artist.

Keyshia Cole isn’t a strong vocalist, or strong entertainer, but her songs would probably do better, sung by someone else.
I did enjoy all the above songs. Her albums, as a whole, are great, but she needs stronger vocals and better promotion.
stop saying “Did you know…” too much.
