New Song: Ameriie – ‘Every Time’

Ameriie has returned to the music scene with a new song entitled ‘Every Time’. Produced by Focus, the song will appear on the songbird’s upcoming EP – don’t ask – entitled ‘The Prelude’.
‘In Love & War’, Ameriie’s 2009 album, has yet to be certified gold by the RIAA in the US. The record peaked at #46 on the Billboard 200 and failed to generate a Billboard Hot 100 hit.

‘Every Time’ is a good R&B record, despite its dated sound circa 2008. However, the issue that has always plagued Ameriie is not her material; her problem stems from a lack of resources.
Ameriie is talented but she doesn’t get the support that she needs to score a hit record. Strangely, she has a very marketable look and sound but nobody seems to care. I wonder what has occurred behind the scenes to cause that problem?

I love this song… It does have a throwback feel to it, but to me, that’s a sign of good music b/c most of what comes out today is a bunch of crap as well!!! I love the track from the beat down to Amerie’s vocal harmonies
It does sound dated but it’s still a good song.
