Did you know that Nicki Minaj is the only female rapper who has scored multiple #1 albums on the Billboard 200?

Both of Minaj’s studio albums - ‘Pink Friday’ and ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded’ – peaked at #1 on the Billboard 200 and earned her the title of being the only female rapper to achieve that feat. In fact, only 3 other female Hip-Hop acts have topped the chart - Lauryn Hill with ‘The Miseducation Of Lauryn Hill’ (1998), Foxy Brown with ‘Chyna Doll’ (1999) and Eve with ‘Ruff Ryders’ First Lady’ (1999).

Additionally, Minaj’s ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded’ was the first album by a female rapper to debut atop the UK Albums Chart. The LP is also the only album by a female Hip-Hop artist to peak at #1 on both the Billboard 200 and the UK Albums Chart.

   The album as a whole is still wack and in-cohesive.

   I agree with it being in-cohesive but not wack. I LOVE it and it’s different than what I expected but still good. It won’t get her any outstanding awards but it’s still really fun (:

   Nicki Minaj has become a poor man’s Ke$ha. And that’s really saying something! I’d much rather listen to Ke$ha than Nicki Minaj at this point. The music she’s been putting out lately for the most part is absolute garbage and a complete mess. With Ke$ha, it’s at least well-crafted garbage (which actually works. If that makes sense) and she doesn’t expect anyone to take her seriously.

   Listen to Whip It — her flow is THERE.

   nicki has flaws (Marilyn Monroe, for example) where she only sings, but there is no denying that songs like Roman Reloaded, Roman’s Revenge, Whip It, Beautiful Stranger, Pound the Alarm, HOV Lane, IAYL, Champion are VERY good songs.

   I loved the CD even though I’m not necessarily a huge fan of hers. I have to give her credit she has a lot of good pop songs and her flow in HOV lane and Come On A Cone was crazy ridiculous. IMO
