Did you know that Lauryn Hill’s ‘The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill’ is the best-selling album in by a female Hip-Hop artist in the US?

‘The Miseducation’ has sold a stunning 7.11 million copies in the US since 1998 and is ranked as the best-selling album by a female rapper. In fact, the record has sold almost 5 million copies more than its nearest rival, Missy Elliott’s ‘Under Construction’, which sold 2.13 million units in the US since 2002.

Ranked in third position among the best-selling albums by a female Hip-Hop artists is Nicki Minaj’s ‘Pink Friday’. The LP has generated over 1.82 million copies in sales in the US since November 2010.

   Miss Hill! The best that there ever was. She gave u true, heart-felt lyrics that moved you. They were always positive and had a message. This is what we need. Not stupid hoes making music about other stupid hoes. Lauryn, we miss you.

   One cd solidified her place in hip hop/rap as a legend. Lauryn Hill presence is so missed in the music industry.
