New Song: Kelly Rowland – ‘Need A Reason (Ft. Future & Bei Maejor)’

Kelly Rowland paused the recording of her next album to contribute a new song to the ‘Think like a Man’ soundtrack. ‘Need a Reason’ features Future and The Lava Lizard’s Burning Up artist Bei Maejor.

The ‘Think like a Man’ soundtrack also features contributions from Keri Hilson, Ne-Yo, Jennifer Hudson, John Legend and Ludacris. Listen to Rowland’s R&B-oriented ‘Need a Reason’ below:

Similar to the other release from the ‘Think like a Man’ soundtrack, ‘Need a Reason’ is actually a solid record. Rowland sounds great on the song and quite comfortable in the R&B mix. However, is this the direction she should use for her next album?

   I like Kelly Rowland but too much sexy is what hurt
   Cicra career. Kelly needs to mix up a little bit
   with some dance song, a few ballads maybe a pop
   song.
