Ashanti Debuts New Song ‘She Can’t’

Ashanti performs 'She Can't' in Washington.

Ashanti gave her fans in Washington a special treat on Friday night when she debuted a new song. ‘She Can’t’ will appear on the singer’s upcoming ‘BraveHeart’ album, which has been delayed until August 28th.

Earlier this year, Ashanti shared a snippet of ‘She Can’t’ via her Ustream session with Jerry Wonda. However, she has yet to reveal the track list of ‘BraveHeart’ or confirm which songs made the final cut of the record. Watch her perform ‘She Can’t’ below:

‘She Can’t’ is certainly a catchy song with an infectious melody. Ashanti has always been very clever with writing hooks for herself and others so it is no surprise that she has crafted such a radio friendly song. Hopefully, ‘She Can’t’ or a familiar tune will be Ashanti’s next single because she definitely needs a hit before ‘BraveHeart’ arrives on August 28th.

   When I first saw this I was saying what is Ashanti wearing!
   It makes her look a trashy whore and I don’t like that.
   She is trying copy Beyonce with that song and struding
   across, and jiving like that. I agree with Pices2g want
   to see the class Ashanti not th trashy one.
