Kelly Rowland Announces New Single Release Date

Kelly Rowland stars in her 'Motivation' video.
Kelly Rowland announced at the Hot107.9 Birthday Bash that her new single would premiere within a couple weeks but the track will actually premiere much sooner than expected. In fact, the record will hit the airwaves as soon as tomorrow!
‘Ice’ features Lil Wayne and it is scheduled to debut on June 29th. The record has been described by songwriter Sean Garrett as very “sexy” and Rowland even shared several of its lyrics – “Your lovin’ be givin’ me chills; you’re like ice”.
Rowland and Wayne previously collaborated on her 2011 hit ‘Motivation’. The song, which was the lead US release from her ‘Here I Am’ album, peaked at #17 on the Billboard Hot 100 and topped the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts.

Wisely the label is continuing with a formula that works…I just hope they don’t mess it up again with long waiting time between singles or forget that Kelendria has experienced the majority of her commercial success outside the US.
Sounds unambitious. I expect this album to essentially be Here I am part 2 but with more cohesion and direction.
Also I hope she releases this world wide, she made a mistake not releasing Motivation in the UK. We listen to more than just dance music, Ushers Climax peaked at number 3 over here.
When is Kelly gonna stand on her own and get a hit?
I think if Kelly wants to be a successful singer she needs a “it factor” which she does not have. Her voice is as heavy as Waffer and when she tries to go farther she pushes the voice into a yell/yodel. And while she had some great songs on her last cd (it was a great cd) but because she sang the songs no one listened because her voice does not capture any attention. If someone else sang that cd it would have been a hit but her and voice and those songs just won’t work. She needs to manage/train artists

Kelly needs to quit that dance show she is doing in Australia . Re release “Here I am” and push those singles that album was awesome! I hate how Kelly just starts so much but never finishes
