Did you know that LA Reid and Babyface were once members of the 1980s band The Deele?
Reid and Babyface were founding members of The Deele, starting in 1981, as a drummer and vocalist, respectively. The group achieved minor success during the 1980s and even scored a top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100, ‘Two Occasions’, which peaked at #10 on the chart.
In 1998, Reid and Babyface exited the band, and subsequently launched LaFace Records. That joint venture with Arista Records eventually kick started the careers of Usher, TLC, Pink and Toni Braxton.

All of the men are unattractive in that photo. I could pick out LA Reid and Babyface. I loved that song back in the 1980′s. I’m nostalgic I guess. I’ve been following Babyface for many years and will continue to do so. Everyone in the video looks hideous besides Babyface. BUT the music was on point!
Trent I think you meant LAFace was formed in 1989 not 1998.
Yessss I use to like their music. I want them to reunite and perform on XFactor lol
