The last time we heard new material from Little Mix was in December when they released their debut single, ‘Cannonball’. Flash forward to present day and the group has returned with a new song, ‘Wings’, which is the second offering from their upcoming debut album.
‘Cannonball’ topped the Official UK Singles Chart yet, despite the earlier buzz generated for their material, Little Mix has yet to annonce the release date of their album. Listen to ‘Wings’, which will be available on iTunes on August 19th, below:
Little Mix really delivered with ‘Wings’! They have drastically improved their harmonies, which were previously one dimensional, and their timing with the the beat was tight. In fact, their use of melodies and rhythm was very similar to Destiny’s Child (see ‘Happy Face’).
Hopefully, Little Mix announce the release of their debut album soon. They really can’t wait another six months to drop another single because even I fortgot they existed and that I previously covered them post ‘The X Factor (UK)’.
love this song!! and great ear Trent to recognise Happy Face in it!
I hope they don’t waste this talent. Misha B, Little Mix and Marcus should not go to waste.
They definitely have crossover appeal and need to drop this in the US. They remind me of Danity Kane in the sense it’s a group where all the girls actually sing.
Hey Trent, *forgot
Yas they did this, great production and greater vocals.
so generic
OH SHIT! It does sound like HAPPY FACE O_O
