Brandy and Whitney Houston star in ‘Cinderella’.

Did you know that Brandy has starred in movies alongside Whitney Houston and Diana Ross?

Brandy landed the lead role in ‘Cinderella’ in 1997 after being hand selected by Houston. Later, in 1999, Brandy scored yet another major part alongside diva Diana Ross in the less successful ‘Double Platinum’. Interestingly, Houston played Brandy’s fairy godmother in ‘Cinderella’ and Ross was the latter’s mother in ‘Double Platinum’.

Of course, the music from both films were just as popular as the movies. Perhaps the most memorable scene in ‘Cinderella’ was of Brandy and Houston’s renditions of ‘Impossible’/’It’s Possible’. Watch that segment below:

Selling 14 million albums on Never Say Never alone World Wide. #1 hit sitcom amongst African Americans for 6 seasons!! An official Brandy Barbie Doll! She was one of the 1st young black entertainers to sign a LUCRATIVE deal with a major cosmetic company… COVER GIRL which later opened the doors for the likes of Beyonce to sign w/ Loreal & Rihanna & Queen to sign w/ Cover Girl. All this while rocking BRAIDS & staying true to herself. Our 1st Black Princess… America’s original sweetheart… Miss Brandy Norwood ^_^
