Ozzy Osbourne

Did you know that Rock legend Ozzy Osbourne once bit the head off a live bat during a concert performance?

During a concert at the Veterans Memorial Auditorium in Des Moines, Iowa in 1982, a fan tossed a live bat onstage  at Osbourne who then proceeded to chew on the animal. The bat reportedly responded by biting back and the entertainer had to be treated for a possible rabies infection. However, that wasn’t the only time when Osbourne chomped on a winged creature.

In 1981, Osbourne bit the head off a dove during a meeting with label executives in Los Angeles. The incident was blamed on him being heavily intoxicated. Watch a clip of Osbourne chewing on the bat below:
