You’ve seen the behind the scenes footage of Marcus Canty’s new video for ‘In & Out’ and now is your chance to watch the final product. Featuring rapper Wale, the song is the lead offering from Canty’s upcoming Epic Records debut album.
So, how did Canty tailor the sample of Shabba Ranks’ ‘Ting-A-Ling’ into a video that suits his younger demographic? Watch the visual below and see for yourself:
Considering the fact that Canty is catering to a young audience of primarily teenagers, this ‘In & Out’ video is quite good. Obviously, if he was about ten years older, it would have been great to see a squad of dancers engaging in a passa passa Dancehall competition in someone’s basement but I sense we will have to wait a while for that day. Good effort by Canty and Wale’s struggling plaits with this video.
Horrible make up, boring song.
Not bad, not bad at all. It’s just funny how people act like it’s June and it’s now almost September and everyone is releasing videos for summer songs NOW. Brandy, Marcus Canty, Mariah Carey…come onnn. But anyway good job for a first video for Marcus.
