Trey Songz looks silly in his new video, ‘Hail Mary’.
Expect to see a lot of Trey Songz this week, as his fifth studio album, ‘Chapter V’, finally hits stores. For instance, Songz has released the new video to his latest single, ‘Hail Mary’, which features Young Jeezy and Lil’ Wayne as well as comedian Kevin Hart.
Earlier this week, Songz showcased his talent by performing on Walmart Soundcheck. However, he has taken several steps back with his incredibly childish ‘Hail Mary’ video. Watch the production to below:
In case you’re wondering who directed this terrible ‘Hail Mary’ video, Songz directed it himself as a World Star Hip-Hop exclusive. Since Songz is brave enough to waste his money on producing videos like this, I will be brave enough to not purchase his new album.

That was complete trash! It’s songs and videos like this that cause Trent and others to bash Trey. This man HAS talent and instead he wastes it on this ^^^^. Trey needs to stop worrying about getting hits and make music that will last, get him Grammies and give him longevity.

Trey is being foolish. He needs to quit messing around and release “Pretty Girl’s Lie” or “Fumble” as the next official single or something. Those two songs, especially PGL, are great.
He really needs someone to sit him down and talk to him. He’s restricting himself and I do not like it at all.
@DOMOdotSCORE, you ain’t never told no lie! Fumble is the business. If I was in control this album I would have him release Fumble, Without A Woman, Simply Amazing, & Never Again as singles. He is putting out the wrong singles and people will get turned off and not purchase his album when he has good stuff on it. Chapter V doesn’t get good until track 9 Pretty Girls Lie

I will say that Heart Attack & Playing Hard are cool but you’re right, from 9 to the end (except Check Me Out) are excellent songs. I wish I was a part of his team so I could steer him in the right direction.
