Elle Varner continues to set herself apart from her R&B peers with her new video for ‘I Don’t Care’. Instead of creating a typical visual that focuses on a cliche love affair, the unique songstress crafted a production that highlighted the struggles of both interracial and gay relationships.

if you have a problem with Varner’s views on love then she doesn’t care. At least, that’s what her ‘I Don’t Care’ video – the latest offering from her ‘Perfectly Imperfect’ project – indicates in a very subtle yet effective fashion. Watch the visual below and see for yourself:

This ‘I Don’t Care’ video is a very good effort and the only thing that could have made it better is an extended intro or ending to add to the storyline of the characters. Still, Varner did a great job with this production and the fact that I am left wanting more proves that she did her job the right way.
