Babyface’s ‘Every Time I Close My Eyes’ single cover

Did you know you know that both Mariah Carey and Kenny G perform background on Babyface’s hit song ‘Every Time I Close My Eyes’?

Babyface released ‘Every Time I Close My Eyes’ in January 1997 and many people were shocked to here the familiar sounds of an unnamed featured voice. Well, that mystery singer was Carey, who performed background vocals on the track while Kenny G played the saxophone.

‘Every Time I Close My Eyes’ peaked at #6 on the Billboard Hot 100 and earned Babyface a Grammy Award nomination for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance. Watch the video for the song below:
