Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green
By now you know that Mariah Carey is Christina Aguilera’s idol so there is no need for me to point out the obvious similarities between their vocal stylings on the latter’s new duet with Cee Lo Green. The song, ‘Baby, It’s Cold Outside’, will appear on ‘Cee Lo’s Magic Moment’ on October 30th.
With her slick vocal runs and soft falsetto, Aguilera joins Green in a winter wonderland on ‘Baby, It’s Cold Outside’. Listen to the cover of the Frank Loesser classic below:
Vocal performances like Aguilera’s on ‘Baby, It’s Cold Outside’ demonstrate why she earned a spot on out Best Singers of the Last 16 Years list. She was a bit rough at certain points, but she sang beautifully for most of the song and proved one simple fact: once she doesn’t try to belt, she remains in control.
Well done, Aguilera. Now all you have to do is work on the other disconnected portions of you range and you will be in a much better position, both live and in studio. You might even be able to hit your highest notes live someday!

But there´s a reason why no other commercial artist can make Xmas music like Mariah Carey. This was boring. Mariah musicianship is crazy, as a vocalist and as a producer-songwriter. This is good, Mariah makes it sound stunning. So you can stop stop bitching about Trent cos he is right
