Melanie Amaro released her debut single, ‘Don’t Fail Me Now’, months ago but she only premiered its corresponding video this morning. Yet, similar to the song itself, the new production is far from what many expected from the first ‘The X Factor (US)’ winner.
‘Don’t Fail Me Now’ has thus far failed to crack the Billboard Hot 100. Unfortunately, this video for the song will probably struggle boost its popularity. Don’t believe me? Watch the clip below:
Is this what a $5 million record deal pays for in 2012? A projector connected to computer, aimed at a green screen, and a room of people jumping around with their hands in the air? Amaro is immensely talented but this video doesn’t do her any favours. Hopefully, her future releases will be better.

SNOOOOOOOOOOOOOZE!
And this is why I wouldn’t be eager to win a talent show. You’re locked into a contract and this is what you’re stuck with.
Girl she tried to give me Madonna Ray of Light with fake Dre beats! Sit Hone
Just stop it with the auto-tuned please…
I said during the XFactor last season that MELANIE would not be a hit artist. I said to the owner of this site that Marcus Canty…would be the breakout star…THINK I WAS RIGHT!
