Mya released her ‘K.I.S.S.’ album independently in Japan since last year and many people have since forgotten about the record. However, the singer renewed interest in the project with the premiere of her new video for ‘Take Him Out’ earlier today.
‘Take Him Out’ features Dancehall artist Spice and true to her name, the Jamaican adds a special flavour to the catchy song. Watch Mya and Spice in action in their new video below:
It is such a shame that Mya doesn’t have the resources to boost her career because as this ‘Take Him Out’ video proves, she has all the qualities of a star. She can sing, dance and even wine, and she also looks great. Isn’t life just so unfair? At least we can still enjoy her independent releases!

The video is cute. “Take Him Out” is the best song on the album. Although there are a couple good songs on the album, the album as a whole wasn’t as good as it could’ve been.
Wow she’s just releasing this video? I liked this song and played it out a long time ago.
It Was Leaked!!!
woiiii Mya is foinee!! Why is she like this?! Its sad coz shes doing well in this vid! IN JAPAN?!?!?!!? Wh’am to the US & UK!!! This tune would go FIREEEEE in d clubs!
The album actually is available in the US digitally on Amazon and Itunes. But it was physically released only in Japan.
She should be on a major label. She is beautiful and can dance and sing. With the right material she could do well.
Personally, I hated the song. Her voice was whiny/raspy/squealy…
I love Mya but this is just TERRIBLE!
I don’t know what everybody is listening to…? I love Mya just as much as the next person but this is just BADDDD.
She can still sing and is beautiful and I feel like she is wasting her resources by playing around with this kind of juvenile stuff. She needs to get it together. She really gave me life with her Moodring album and I actually REBOUGHT it a couple years ago because I still love that record. Really hope she can get it together. I need a strong US effort from her. She has nothing left to prove but I feel like someone with her potential could be doing amazing live shows and tours with her tap dancing skills. She needs to link up with Debbie Allen!
