Have you heard Nick Minaj ‘The Boys’ on a radio station near you? Probably not because the the song is a certified flop but that doesn’t mean that she has delayed the release of her ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded – The Re-Up’ album. In fact, she announced its arrival date earlier today.
‘The Re-Up’ will hit stores on November 19th. The record will entail six new songs and appearances by Minaj’s few remaining friends in the industry, such as Lil Wayne and Cassie. Minaj described the album to Perez Hilton as having a “mix tape feel” and a throwback to her earlier career.
The lead single from ‘The Re-Up’, ‘The Boys’, has yet to enter the Billboard Hot 100. The song’s accompanying video is expected to debut with the coming days. If you haven’t see the colourful behind the scenes footage from the set of the production then click here.

So wait, who’s really the flop here?
well as with most artists that follows trends to get big hits (*cough* rihanna *cough*) when you abandon that sound and try anything slightly different you have the big possibility of losing some people. oh well good luck to her ..
She needs to just forget this whole project and start fresh with something new that will help her keep the die hard fans she has left.
Speaking of her fans, they’re hilarious to me. Earlier on Twitter they were all going crazy because she announced the release date of this album but let’s see how many of them actually buy it LOL.
Shitty Minaj has like 10 songs on airplay right now featured in other ppls songs all the same quality of this… I remember I said starships was pure trash and it became her worldwide hit. Kids are so low standards today.
TRENT I WAS EXPECTING A FUNNYS ASS GIF! LOL
She needs to go back to ripping off Lil Kim, maybe she will become relevent again…. *yawning*. I guess I’ll go to sleep and dream about bambarding Best Buy for 2/11
Real talk, this re-release reeks of delusion (as it pertains to her actual value to the general buying public, the public didn’t want it the first two times, why would they want it a third), desperation (PFRR has yet to outsell its predecessor and she’s trying to pad the sells: if I remember correctly, it’s all counted together) and arrogance (ignoring the buying public’s demands for quality music and doing what she wants to do instead of what she needs to do: take the criticism to better herself).
She just needs to take a break and work on her sound and come back stronger with better music. She’s done well for herself and that’s good for her but if she wants longevity, she needs to find herself and release better music.
