Nicki Minaj Forgets Her Medication & Attacks Mariah Carey On Twitter

When Nicki Minaj first arrived at the forefront of the music scene in 2010, Lil Kim tried to warn us that her biggest fan was mentally unstable. Well, most people didn’t pay attention to her words until yesterday when Minaj basically snatched off her own wig and launched a massive online assault against an unsuspecting Mariah Carey.
Following Carey’s comments to Barbara Walters on ‘The View’ regarding Minaj’s threatening words to her on the set of ‘American Idol’, the rapper stormed Twitter with fiery comments targeting the diva. Claiming that Carey is “intimidated” by her and simply trying to play the role of a victim, Minaj assembled her army of misguided souls – the Ken Dolls and Barbz – to help her disgrace Carey.
In fact, Minaj was so determined to disgrace every person affiliated with Carey that she even slammed Da Brat after seeing a fake comment written by an unknown source. This wild behaviour continued for hours as Minaj fired a wave of insults, without ever directly messaging Carey, and ‘retweeting’ the words of the excited Barbz, most of whom ironically didn’t support Minaj’s ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded’ album in a similar fashion. To date, the LP has sold less than 660K copies in the US.

Basically, Minaj has proven herself to be an unpredictable and uncontrollable character, thus providing Carey with sufficient evidence to have her removed from the ‘American Idol’ panel. Of course, that can only happen if their contracts stipulate that creating a hostile work environment would be accepted as grounds for dismissal.
Minaj has truly degraded the image of the ‘American Idol’ brand to that of scandalous reality television and her antics could really tarnish the reputations of the other judges, whose public images are now at risk merely through affiliation with her. Unless, this was all just a clever plan by the producers of the show where Minaj simply took one for the team to generate buzz for the season premiere in January.
Think about it: rumours of Minaj and Carey’s feud erupted the very same day that the former was announced as the fourth judge on the show. They were then quite vague while discussing the tension with the press and then when they class on the set, a camera just happened to be rolling and FOX has done nothing to have that copyrighted footage removed from the web?
So, Minaj is either a raving lunatic who needs to be sedated or a far better actor then a she is a singer. Either way, it is clear that ‘American Idol’ is now focused on the judges instead of the talent of the contestants and it is a complete embarrassment.

Nicki isn’t getting fired, I’m only watching this season for the feud. The show (like all of these singing competitions) are boring as hell now.

I read that Mariah is upset and thinks the producers of this show are manufacturing this drama and is mad video footage as released. If I was Mariah I’d leave, I would not sacrifice my image to help a show gets views. Mariah you don’t need idol they need you, leave girl… Go raise them kids and finish your album.

Is Mariah’s distraught feeling over this a direct comment from her camp? I hadn’t heard that. I thought it was Mariah hatching some old school Diva stunts. If she feels sorry and upset about the show then she needs to realize the same thing that Nicki does. That the cameras are rolling and that Idol is a zoo. She needs to be wary of what she says, get her money, then leave.
Watch she blames it on Rooman. I’m tired of this nutsack. Even though she thinks mariah was in the wrong, she’s the one receiving all the flack for this going on twitter acting a fool. That’s not the way to handle problems dahling. Mariah could have been in the wrong and said something disrespectful first, but the way you handled it overshadowed that. You’re the one who looks a fool. She completely let her kindergarten fans buck her head up. She needs better people around her. Labeling Nicki as “inadequate” and a “gangster” is far from classy. She is jealous. Mariah is parched, pressed and permed. Was Nicki right to act that way? No. However, she deserves respect just as any other human being does. Just because your an “icon” or “legend” doesn’t give you the authority to be disrespectful. This outburt seems like it was from Mariah constantly taking jabs at Nicki. Nicki is no one’s punching bag. She had every right to put Mariah in her place. Meltdown? U are crazy just like that clown. When u have a career like Mariah does there is no such thing as hasbeen. Try again. That clown is only on her second album that has already flopped, and so has many of her singles. U also don’t know if Mariah disrespected her. It could be that Nicki doesn’t know how to handle Mariah’s professionalism.
Nicki Minaj is so dumb. She does not realize that going off on twitter is just proving that she cannot control herself. She already looks like a violent and unstable “hoodrat” because of that video, and this just proves that she may hurt Carey.
Regardless of what Mariah Carey said to make her go off on that video Nicki she have kept her composer because now she looks like the “bad guy.” Nicki does not understand that she may not have had control of what Mariah said to her, but she had control on how she reacted to what was said.
In other words, Nicki is at fault because she did not remain clam, cool, and collected during their “disagreement.”

I seriously doubt either of these judges will return for another season. Either that or one will quit at the end of the season which prompts the other to stay. Personally, I think if Mariah quits at the end of the season and Nicki decides to stay then Nicki will fall out with whoever they choose to replace Mimi. It’s just in Nicki’s nature to be that way. Where as if Nicki were to quit at the end of the season and Mariah stayed then whoever replaces Nicki would get on just fine with Mariah & chances are Mariah will already be friends with that person because she has a lot of industry connections.
This made me love Mariah even more, hate Nicki even more.
I think this bothers us more than Mariah. Mariah is sitting back and being called a legend, iconic shade thrower, and a BOSS, while Nicki is being called crazy and inadequate.
Mariah will continue to do the show and make her millions. Mariah is only making this a big deal to make her look more innocent. We all know Mariah is a mean girl and wants to drive sir Nicki crazy!

Mariah is completely unbothered by this! She has gone head to head with best of them and is most certainly not worried about an army of ratchet Cabbage Patch Kids and their misguided leader. She is slick and knew what to do by going to Barbara ASAP with the scoop while Nicki looks insane as usual tweeting out of control and babbling in a corner. Stay pressed Roman!

I personally feel that there is a significant chance that this whole thing was staged as a way of bringing more attention to the show. The talent of the contestants and various new rules and formats have not brought up the ratings in the last few years, and neither has the addition of big-name (and arguably unqualified) judges such as Ellen Degeres and Jennifer Lopez. Perhaps the show is now adopting the strategy that some “reality-show drama” similar the old Jerry Springer show will help bring in a crowd. Let’s not forget that Nicki Minaj is also an actress who took drama classes for many years prior to becoming a rapper, and often showcases her multiple personalities and dramatic abilities in her music videos and her live shows. Perhaps that was part of the reason the show picked her as judge? Perhaps her contract even states that certain confrontation scenes will be staged in order to stir up interest in the show. We all know that much of what is shown on reality shows these days is staged anyway. If this all WAS staged, the next question would be… will it work? I’m certainly not going to be watching, because I think it completely takes away from the contestants and their talent which should really be the main focus. However, I’ve already heard a couple of female news anchors (who were reporting the story) saying that they are really looking forward to tuning in this season to watch the drama unfold.
Mariah is an evil witch and I’m glad somebody put her in her place.

Because unlike Barbara Streisand and Celine Dion, Mariah is trying to compete with the younger generation. Trying to look young and slutty. I would appreciate it if she stuck go making RnB ballads.
….Mariah looks slutty, but Nicki looks real classy with her fake ass, hot pants, mad hatter wigs and neon rainbows she insist upon. Or lets talk about the cover of her ‘The Mistress’ album that people seem to forget about. Not to mention the fact she plucked that from Kim.
Can you hate Mariah for still loving Hip Hop and RnB or do you think only young folks have the right to make that type of music?
Even if this is all staged, I hope Nicki pisses off enough people and burns bridges to the point where her long overdue exit from the industry happens that much quicker.

Never before has a Diva’s shade worked so well. Mariah brought back the 90s with this one. It’s like when someone punches you and no one saw it. You’re going to look like a jealous fool no matter what you do. Shade of the most epic proportions.
I said it when I commented in the other article and I’ll say it again. No matter whether or not Mariah did or did not start it, Minaj by default looks bad with her behavior (yelling & cursing in the video to the twitter antics.) It’s really just a matter of one being able to prove that they can handle themselves professionally. But with that being said I’ll also refute previous comments of this is a gimmick for ratings and a hook-line & sinker way to surely, securely do so. I, however will not give in to the sensationalism.. -.-

Oh, Nicki, such an amateur. The minute I heard “babies” come from Barbara Walters’ mouth, all speculation I had about Mariah’s genius secret agenda was confirmed. Mariah told Barbara Walters, who in turn told The View audience, that she’s mostly concerned about the safety of her babies who are often on set. You know who watches The View? Every woman who has birthed and raised a child in the United States. Mariah just secured herself the biggest and most important community under the sun. Its the MOTHERS who are watching celebrity-endorsed commercials while the kids are at school. Its the MOTHERS who buy celebrity-endorsed products at Walmart, Kmart, Target, et. al. You think for one minute that ANY white, middle aged, political-analyzing stay-at-home mom is willing to tolerate the obnoxious behaviour exhibited by Nicki Minaj in the TMZ video and twitter? And what was Mariah doing during these two episodes? Sitting back, painting her toenails. We know Mariah never wanted Nicki on the Idol panel, and now we know that she wants Nicki out of show business. This is a game as simple as tick-tack-toe for Mariah, and she’s outplaying Nicki by a landslide.
The last time a female artist made a threatening remark against Mariah was Macy Gray in the early 2000′s. She said she wanted to punch Mariah because she couldn’t stand watching her music videos. When asked about it, Mariah laughed it off, stating that an artist usually had to be more established to make catty remarks about other artists. Fast forward some years later, Macy Gray was the first contestant eliminated on a season of “Dancing with the Stars”.
