Preview: Christina Aguilera’s ‘Lotus’ Album

Earlier this evening a snippet of a new Christina Aguilera song called ‘Army of Me’ surfaced and a preview of all the songs on her ‘Lotus’ album soon followed. Set to be released on November 13th, the record is the diva’s followup to ‘Bionic’ of 2010.
‘Lotus’ includes contributions from Max Martin, Sia, Shellback, Alex da Kidd, Claude Kelly and others. The only featured performers on the record are Aguilera’s fellow ‘The Voice’ coaches Blake Shelton and Cee Lo Green.

Army Of Me, Let There Be Love*****, Blank Page ***, Just A Fool***, Light Up The Sky, Make The World Move. Let There Be Love is definitely my favorite. . however I am extremely confused.. where is ‘easier to lie’?
Very interesting… pleasantly surprised by the sound of this album..glad itÊ»s not straight forward pop like ‘Your Body,’ but can’t tell enough from the snippets..
It sounds good!! I think she has a hit album!! but i feel like Christina is like a Chameleon she changes according to whats trendy at the moment so she her music lacks its own distinct sound its like shes aiming for a new audience with every record. i also dislike the autotune moments. But just by the snippets i can tell its much better than Bionic.

I like what I’m hearing! I just didn’t like the auto-tuned parts.
Also, Christina’s voice has really changed! She doesn’t sound like the same Christina that sang “You Lost Me,” two years ago.
Nevertheless, I will be buying this album!
Mess.Com … these snippets suck honestly, maybe when I hear the full versions but xtina has only 1 plausible cd, Stripped
………..I don’t know. Some of the autotune threw me off BUT I can say 1 thing: these snippets alone sounds better than that last album which was dreadful! Xtina…..girl u might get my coins this time around.
YOUR KIDDING…THIS SOUNDS BORING AT BEST. No Soar, No LOVING ME FOR ME, No FUSS, NO Hurt, no GET MINE GET YOURS, no WALK AWAY…..this is NO STRIPPED…AS USUAL she leaves her soulful voice at the door and does not come close to Rihanna/Katy Perry Quality of Material and she has the BETTER VOICE. This is just as BLAH as the Back 2 Basics crap. Again, her First 2 Cd’s and her spanish cd are her BEST work. This isn’t even as good as 2nd rate Beyonce throw-aways.
I think I will be buying several of these songs. Many sounded good but others not too much. I’m specially interested in her ballads. Her dance or more up-tempo songs aren’t exactly my cup of tea but I’ll wait to hear the album in full and who knows, I may actually buy it.
