The US charts were marked by by heavy activity this week as two of the biggest names in Pop music – Rihanna and Ke$ha – and their peer Ciara all charted their latest songs on the Billboard Hot 100 ranking. Yet, as the dust has now settled, which one of these woman came out on top?
Ke$ha outperformed her competition as ‘Die Young’ launched on to the Hot 100 at #13 spot this week. The song yielded over 188K digital downloads and placed at #3 on the Billboard Digital Songs chart. Ke$ha will release her new album, ‘Warrior’, on December 4th.
Below Ke$ha on the Hot 100 was Rihanna, whose ‘Diamonds’ single opened at #16 with 133K downloads sold. By comparison, the lead single from the Bajan superstar’s 2011 ‘Talk That Talk’ album, ‘We Found Love’, only sold 117K copies in its first week and also debuted at #16.
Ciara also managed to chart on the Hot 100…well, almost. Her lead ‘One Woman Army’ single, ‘Sorry’, has started at #22 on the Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100 ranking. In case you’re wondering, that is the equivalent of charting at #122 on the Hot 100 lineup.

Solid debuts for both Kesha & Rihanna. I see the first doing better on the charts than the later but none better than the KKK stan Taylor Swift who -for some reason- is slaying ITunes & on RadioAirplay. *sigh*
what about chubtina aguilessor?
“Your body” debuted at #36 last week and is currently #64 on Hot this week.
Mind you, this is with rihanna missing a day in the week.
Rihanna is killing it!
She sold almost 20k more than WFL and beat its airplay. Diamonds matched WFL mediabase score from ay 10 on day three. This is setting up to be a huge hit (If she performs it.)
I was warned about this site but I see for myself now . Someone on staff m ust really dis like Ci. Try not to show it your article.
I doubt that you know each other personally so drop it. Keep it professional please.
I check up on many artists(Ciara included) often and I am also mindful of the source. Being negative is not a good look. Promote positivity and your site’s traffic will soar.
I’m out and never to return. Peace
If you want to read only positive things about a particular artist, stick to the fan sites, or create your own blog where you can “promote positivity”.
Im trying to find where Trent was negative. He posted….the facts. He could of easily not posted about her AT ALL because she isn’t relevant
Um, charting in the Bubbling Under Charts is NOT charting in the Hot 100. Ciara has YET to chart in the Hot 100 with “Sorry.” Sorry….not sorry.
