As Kelly Rowland’s new song, ‘ICE’, continues to creep higher on Urban radio, she has devised a special way to get the track to leap further up the charts. Selling herself as a piece of meat for hire, the singer shows us how she stripped down to her underwear in special behind the scenes footage of the track’s accompanying video.
Rowland previously stated that her new ‘Year of the Woman’ album is heavily influenced by the works of Whitney Houston and Marvin Gaye. Yet, the video for ‘ICE’ appears to have been inspired by Lil Kim. Watch the behind the scenes look at the shoot below:

Chill, she hasn’t released this video yet? Why do you guys blame Beyonce for her lack of success when it’s clear as day that she’s not ready to be aggressive?
She looks amazing. The song is doing very well on radio on its own but the video needs to come soon as it’s looking like’s it going to peak.
Ice is currently #38 on Rhythmic and #12 on Urban radio
Black barbie doll. I really hope this era pushes her right in the centre of the mainstream. Black women need a dark icon to look up to. All the “black” mainstream females – Beyonce and Rihanna – are light.
Michelle Obama, Jennifer Hudson, Kerry Washington, Viola Davis, Octavia Spencer… Black women can’t look up to them?
I meant in POP/MAINSTREAM MUSIC,
Jennifer is the only one of those who sings and her incredible last album, I Remember Me didn’t even get the recognition it deserved.
JHud’s only proper mainstream success came with Dreamgirls and “Spotlight”.
smh @ kelly, all this time dance pop has been dominating she aint done shit! she could have been one of the top artists in the past 3/4 years. shit, she was one of the first people who ushered dance pop to the mainstream when she did love takes over with david guetta… but no she wants to win a b.e.t award so bad, she’s ‘sticking to her roots’.. she was huge in europe! just as dance pop took over thats when she decided to start forcing this rnb vixen shit. good luck getting a real hit..
I agree with you! I don’t why she never stuck with Dance/Pop when that was her sound before it got proper mainstream! :S
I can’t wait for this
It look like Motivation 2.0 to me. I am rooting Kelly buts
she needs to stick with one concept. One minute she
says her will be about in powering women and the next
it is inspired by Marvin Gaye ‘s type or music.
Kelly BYE!
