The 2012 American Music Awards will be be having their 40th annual ceremony on November 18th. Further boosting the hype for the ceremony, the show will now include performances by Chris Brown, Kelly Clarkson, Carly Rae Jepsen, PSY, The Wanted, Swizz Beatz and Ludacris.
Previously announced American Music Awards performers include Justin Bieber, Usher, No Doubt, Ke$ha, Pink, Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj, Christina Aguilera, Carrie Underwood, Pitbull and Linkin Park. Additionally, the show will feature a new category for Electronic/Dance music, joining Pop/Rock, Country, Rap/Hip-Hop, Soul/R&B, Adult Contemporary and Latin.

They should really try and change it up a bit. Now a days award shows book the same people every time. Chris Brown is going to dance but not sing live at all and it will be evident that he is lip singing. He doesn’t even use a prerecored track.
