Did you know that Tina Turner performed the theme song for the ‘James Bond: GoldenEye’ movie in 1995?
Turner released ‘GoldenEye’ in November 1995 as the title track of the ‘James Bond: GoldenEye’ soundtrack. The song was written by Bono (of U2) and The Edge, and produced by Nellee Hooper, specifically with Turner’s unique vocals in mind.
Despite being ranked as the 14th most successful ‘James Bond’ theme in the history of the Billboard Hot 100, ‘GoldenEye’ only peaked at #102 on the chart. Watch the song’s accompanying video below:

Everyone knows…
Well I didn’t know! I’m 17 and this came out while I was still in my crib! Did she do any other Bond songs? I like her voice
I didn’t know either and I’m big Tina fan…Thanks Trent.
Tina Turner is One Bad B****!
One of my favorites besides Shirley Bassey’s “Diamonds are Forever” and Adele’s “Skyfall”
This was the best Bond song of the last 20 years. I don´t want to say ever cos I don´t know the Bond songs before 1995, only since Queen Tina did it and on (better than Sheryl Crow, Madonna, Alicia, Garbage and Adele, sorry for them)
