A young Luther Vandross

Did you know that singer Luther Vandross appeared on some of the earliest episodes of ‘Sesame Street’?

Vandross made guest appearances on the second and fifth episodes of ‘Sesame Street’, which is a popular children’s show that first premiered on November 10th 1969 and has since logged 43 seasons on the air. Vandross performed as a member of the group Listen My Brother in both episodes.

Shockingly, Vandross wasn’t even the lead singer of Listen My Brother. Try to spot him as they perform ‘Count to 20′ on ‘Sesame Street’ below:
