Luther Vandross and Gregory Hines’ ‘There’s Nothing Better Than Love’ single cover

Did you know that Luther Vandross and Gregory Hines scored a #1 song on Billboard charts in 1987?

Hines and Vandross released a duet in 1987 called ‘There’s Nothing Better Than Love’. The song peaked at #50 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #1 on the Billboard Hot Black Singles chart, which is now known as the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.

Sadly, both Vandross and Hines have passed away. The former died on July 1st 2005 whereas Hines lost his battle to liver cancer almost two years prior on August 9th 2003. Watch the video for ‘There’s Nothing Better Than Love’ below:
