New Song: Rihanna – ‘Diamonds (Remix) (Ft. Kanye West)’

The single cover of Rihanna’s new song, ‘Diamonds (Remix) (Ft. Kanye West)’.

It looks as though Ke$ha’s ‘Die Young’ won’t find its way to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 so easily. Just hours after the auto-tune warrior released the official remix of the song, her Bajan counterpart, Rihanna, fired back with a revamped version of her new song, ‘Diamonds’, which features Kanye West.

Both ‘Diamonds’ and ‘Die Young’ have been deadlocked on the Hot 100 for weeks as the tracks traded places near the upper region of the chart. Now, with Maroon 5′s ‘One More Night‘ slowly losing steam, the world waits to see which remix will push the respective songs to the #1 spot on the lineup.

Listen to the remix of ‘Diamonds’ below and determine if West gave it what it needs to become Rihanna’s 12th #1 title on the Hot 100:

Too bad for her her success can´t compare to madonna´s. She needed everyone and their mammas to feature on her songs to reach #1´s these years. Madonna and true greats did it effortlessly, just by themselves. Rihanna and Katy Perry are jokes. Both of them not having what would be the normal album sales for such good “singles sellers” is the ultimate proof

Kanye went off. He said anything featuring his name will be #1.

What does Ye’s verse have to do with the overall theme of the song? Taking the verse by itself, it’s a cool verse but in the context of the song, it’s off theme and out of place.
