New Video: Brandy – ‘Wildest Dreams’

Brandy stars in her new ‘Wildest Dreams’ video.
Brandy surprised her fans just moments ago with the debut of her new video for ‘Wildest Dreams’. Serving as the followup to her top 10 Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs hit, ‘Wildest Dreams’ is the latest offering from the singer’s ‘Two Eleven’ album.
To date, ‘Two Eleven’ has sold a modest 87K copies in the US. The record slipped from #3 to #10 on the Billboard 200 this week after selling only 22K units during its second week of availability. Watch the ‘Wildest Dreams’ video below:
It’s a shame that Brandy filmed a basic live performance video for ‘Wildest Dreams’ because this format does nothing to boost the impact of the song. With ‘Two Eleven’ quickly falling down the charts and the recent Billboard rule changes making it more difficult for her songs to succeed, Brandy need to put forward a video with much more depth. Honestly, looking cute is not enough to score a hit.

New single.. I knew this song wasn’t good enough to sell the album. I hope she releases a song for the ladies next. Do You Know or So sick. Brandy needs to gain a larger female audience.
after hearing the album these single choices were horrible! put it down and wildest dreams and two of the weakest songs on an album that is amazing .. i understand put it down as the first i guess to ease ppl into the sound but she had so much stronger ones to follow it.. i have high hopes for a good 3rd single

Maybe I need to re-watch the video again because I didn’t get the concept. It had nothing to do with the song.

She looks beautiful, but there is no concept to this video. Managerial missteps continue. She should fire them and hire more competent people. It seems as if they released Wildest Dreams as the 2nd single just so she can mention her boyfriend during her promo interviews. I could care less about her romantic life. Put out the stronger songs on the album that will have more impact and boost sales!

The video is okay. Brandy better start performing on some late night shows to save this album.

Keep doing it Brandy and puttin it down LOVE her and her music always have and always will. This wasn’t a comeback Brandy never left she just took a break from the bizz to raise her daughter and be a mother nothing’s wrong with that. That’s what’s wrong with our generation we act like just because you’re not in the spotlight your incapable of being successful. I call BS on that.
Brandy could have released a video of her on the toilet and I would have liked it. I just love this song.

Put It Down is the weakest song on the album. Wildest Dreams is nice, but it’s not gonna help sell the album. I almost think Hardly Breathing would’ve been a better second single: it sounds “wintery”, it’s got the repeated bassline that won’t sound out of place next to electro music, and it doesn’t sound like a ’90s R&B throwaway. But this video <<<
Very well filmed but overall a rather boring video.
A storyline would have gone a long way – even if it was just shot in a house with some romantic scenes in a park or something but a live performance with some beauty shots thrown in is not doing it for me…for five minutes as well ¬_¬
