Kelly Clarkson is gearing up for a showdown with Rihanna, Nicki Minaj and Keyshia Cole on the Billboard charts next week when she releases her ‘Greatest Hits – Chapter 1′ set on November 19th. As such, the singer has hyped her fans for her latest work with the debut of her new video for ‘Catch My Breath’.
Backed by a green screen and split frame video editing, Clarkson’s ‘Catch My Breath’ video is probably not what most people imagine while listening to the powerful Pop song. Watch the puzzling production below to see what I mean:
With a terrific Pop record like ‘Catch My Breath’ that has such a great message, this video is incredibly underwhelming. How exactly does Clarkson tossing her hair similar to Britney Spears and remaining glued to one spot reflect the uplifting content of the tune? Perhaps she didn’t want to spend too much money on a greatest hits cut but it would have been nice to see her doing just a bit more.

Why havent you made a post about Leona’s Come Alive video yet?
This woman knows how to deliver a song, what a Pop Diva without showing skin, it’s about the music. this is why she is the best…I will take tossing hair back and forth any day Trent over mediocrity singing .
I love this song. The video is good too.
The video is cute! All she needs to do is stand there and sing.
I think that a reflection video would have fit the song much better. You know, taking clips from parts of her career and showcasing them or something like that, seeing as this is a greatest hits track, celebrating her hard work.
