New Video: Omarion – ‘M.I.A. (Ft. Wale)’

Omarion’s ‘Care Package’ EP cover

Omarion always has a point to prove about his masculinity and he continued that trend in the new video for his latest offering, ‘M.I.A.’. Featuring rapper Wale, the tune is the lead single from Omarion’s upcoming ‘Care Package’ EP.

‘Care Package’ will be released on November 29th as a special gift to Omarion’s fan fans who just can’t wait until he drops his MMG debut album in 2013. What can we expect from the set? Watch the ‘M.I.A.’ video below and find out:

We can always depend on Omarion to take a solid record and turn it into another exhibition of his love of the ladies with its accompanying video. It’s such a shame because the song is actually very catchy, despite the annoying auto-tune on the vocals. Damn you, masculine ideologies and your pesky homophobic pressures.

   Omari would be alright if he wouldn’t try so hard. I feel like he’s trying his hardest to shed his former heart throb image. Watching him pretend to be hard is funny.

   Omarion plays too much with the overt sex he’s serving but at least he’s on a label that allows all the artists to shine (Yay Rick Ross). This song is kinda hot.

   I don’t like the song. Score. But what I WON’T accept is the people who usually like bullcrap that sounds JUST like this to get a go pass from Drake, but not O? It’s not about the sound it’s the image. He’s at war with his image, not his product. His product can stand against Drake, Trey Songz, and all the other monolithic R&B singers.
